Where the money comes from
How we get funds.
People always ask where our funding comes from. Here are the ways support reaches the dogs, the rescuers, and the first responders we serve.
Our funding
Every dollar has a source.
Direct Donations
Gifts made directly through our website, large or small, go straight to the dogs and the people who rescue them.

Products, services, and goods donated in kind help us stretch every dollar and fill our events with prizes and support.
Foundation Grants
Grants from partner foundations help fund our programs and extend the reach of the work we do across North Texas.
Every source, one purpose
However the support arrives, it all ends up in the same place: with the dogs.

Our promise
of every donation goes directly to our causes.
The Duke and Oliver Foundation is an all-volunteer organization, which keeps our operating expenses as low as possible and directs the overwhelming majority of our funds toward the animals, programs, and communities we serve.
Our Board of Directors personally absorbs most administrative and operational expenses.
All administrative expenses are absorbed by our board members. When donations are made by credit card, the card fees are deducted before the donation reaches us.
