Help us help others
For the dogs. And the people who fight for them.
We stand behind the rescue groups, rescuers, working K-9s and first responders of Dallas-Fort Worth, so that no animal faces an emergency alone.

Our story
It began with two dogs.
Duke was Christy's English Mastiff and Oliver was Shelley's Yellow Lab. Two dogs, two families, and one promise made in their memory.
Today the Foundation carries both their names, standing behind the animals of Dallas-Fort Worth and the people who refuse to give up on them.
Ways we give
Four programs. One promise.
Rescue Group Support
When an unexpected veterinary emergency creates a financial burden, we step in with qualifying expenses so rescues can stay focused on what they do best: saving lives.
Rescue the Rescuer
The people who dedicate their lives to animals sometimes need a hand of their own. When a rescuer's personal pet faces an emergency, we make sure someone is in their corner too.
Protecting the Protectors
Working K-9s put themselves in harm's way alongside their partners, yet many serve without protection. We provide ballistic vests to local K-9 officers.
Oxygen from Oliver
Created in Oliver's memory, this program places pet oxygen kits with local emergency services, giving animals in distress a better chance of surviving.
Make a difference
Every dollar goes where it matters.
We are an all-volunteer organization. Our Board of Directors personally absorbs most administrative costs, so your donation reaches the animals, programs and communities we serve.
