The Duke and Oliver Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping dogs and the people who save them.
We support rescue groups with emergency needs, first responders with safety supplies, and K9 officers with tactical gear. We also step in when rescuers’ own dogs face unexpected emergencies—because those who spend their lives saving others deserve support too.

The Duke and Oliver Foundation was born from deep love and profound loss. Duke, co-founder Christy Howard’s rescued English Mastiff and soul mate, remained faithfully by her side until his passing on St. Patrick’s Day in 2007. Oliver, co-founder Shelley Levitz’s Yellow Lab and beloved best friend, was tragically lost in a house fire in 2011.
Though they are gone, Duke and Oliver are never forgotten. Their legacy lives on through the Foundation’s mission—supporting dog rescue groups and the people who dedicate their hearts to saving lives, and honoring Duke and Oliver by improving the lives of others.
Your support and contributions will enable us to help these animals. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
